Standardized Testing: All assessments will measure the currently adopted Oklahoma Academic Standards (OAS) for the 2016 – 2017 School Year. This will include:
Annual assessment in English Language Arts and Mathematics for grades 7, 8, and 10.
Assessments for Science will be administered in grades 8 and 10. A Proficient or Advanced Biology EOI Score will exempt students from the Science assessment in grade 10.
US History assessment once in high school
College/Career Readiness Assessment—example: ACT, SAT
ACT
The ACT is the most common test utilized for college admission in Oklahoma. The ACT is given at Okay High School, but students have to register online for the ACT. .
SAT
While not as common in Oklahoma, the SAT is another test option for college admission.
